Senior Infrastructure Architect

Function

We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to join our client's team and play a key role in shaping and evolving enterprise infrastructure environments. This position offers the opportunity to design, optimize, and secure complex IT ecosystems spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will translate strategic requirements into scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions that support long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements related to ongoing initiatives and existing infrastructure solutions.
• Design and document end-to-end infrastructure architectures, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Model, assess, and validate current and future-state architectures to support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Implement and oversee on-premises, cloud, and hybrid integration solutions.
• Review, supervise, and validate project deliverables to ensure compliance with architectural standards and quality expectations.
• Integrate cybersecurity principles into infrastructure design, ensuring secure-by-design solutions.
• Contribute to security, governance, and compliance frameworks, including regulatory and industry standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
• Participate in cyber risk assessment and mitigation activities while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.

Technical Environment

The role involves working with a broad range of modern infrastructure technologies, including:

• Cloud and hybrid architectures
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), IaaS, and PaaS models
• Containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Virtualization, physical infrastructure, and enterprise storage platforms
• Network and security technologies, including firewalls, IAM, and Zero Trust architectures
• IT governance frameworks and IT service management best practices

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud, hybrid, and traditional infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, container platforms, and modern architecture methodologies.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and architectural excellence.
