We are seeking a skilled developer to join our client's team, where you will play a crucial role in supporting various applications within the realm of data management. As part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for software maintenance, capturing new requirements, and developing solutions for internal clients.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include working as an analyst/designer and Java developer on projects involving multiple applications. You will translate functional analyses into code, provide constructive feedback for improvements, and may also take the initiative to work on functional analyses or user stories. You will partake in maintenance tasks, bug fixing, and user support, ensuring optimal performance and functionality in various applications.

Role and Collaboration

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of designers and analysts, sharing your expertise to foster new insights among team members. You will take full ownership of your assignments, communicated proactively regarding any potential issues. Analyzing problems and proposing effective solutions will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in Java EE development (5+ years)
• Demonstrable expertise in developing Java-based applications (5+ years)
• Experience with JBOSS middleware (EAP, Fuse) (5+ years)
• Familiarity with GIT or other source control systems (5+ years)
• Knowledge of Maven (5+ years)
• Frontend technology skills including HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery (5+ years)
• Experience with JBoss administration in a RedHat Linux environment (5+ years)
• Familiarity with market processes in the energy sector
• Fluency in Dutch at the European CEFR level C2
• Experience in the Belgian energy sector is a plus (3+ years)
• Experience with Hibernate, Spring MVC, JSP is preferred (5+ years)
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) is favored
• Understanding of unit testing principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required
