Senior Linux specialist

Function

We’re looking for a seasoned IT professional to support our client’s high-security technical environment. This role combines hands-on system administration with leadership and coaching responsibilities, all within an agile-driven setting. You’ll work with a wide range of technologies while ensuring operational excellence, security, and reliability.

Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will take ownership of complex IT system administration tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team. Your responsibilities include:

• Applying and supporting agile methodologies across the team

• Automating processes using tools such as Ansible

• Managing system monitoring and operations through platforms like Zabbix and SIEM

• Administering Linux and Microsoft Windows systems

• Working with Openshift, RedHat technologies, and RedHat Satellite 6

• Coaching team members to enhance skills and performance

• Using Elastic Log/Kibana for analysis and visualization

• Implementing security measures aligned with Zero Trust principles

Ideal Candidate Profile
Our client is seeking a professional with:

• At least 10 years of verified experience as a system administrator

• Strong knowledge of Dutch or French, with good proficiency in the other national language and English

• The ability and willingness to obtain and maintain the required security clearance

• Full on-site availability, as all duties must be performed within secure facilities
