Senior Microsoft Exchange Specialist
Function
We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team to lead the migration of their Microsoft Exchange environment to a new Exchange SE platform. This role offers the opportunity to manage a full migration lifecycle, optimize the messaging infrastructure, and ensure security and stability throughout the process.
Role & Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating the migration while providing documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal team:

Analyze the current Exchange 2019 environment, including architecture, configuration, security, and dependencies.

Develop a comprehensive migration plan to Exchange SE, including risk assessment, fallback strategies, and detailed scheduling.

Install, configure, and optimize the new Exchange SE environment.

Execute data migration, including mailboxes, public folders, policies, and connectors.

Validate functionality, stability, security, and integrations post-migration.

Deliver technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Profile / Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange environments and migrations:

5–10 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange, including major version migrations (e.g., 2010/2016/2019 → SE).

Strong expertise in Exchange 2019, Exchange SE, hybrid configurations, and mail flow.

Deep knowledge of PowerShell, SMTP, EWS, load balancing, and certificates.

Excellent understanding of email security protocols (DMARC, SPF, DKIM, anti-spam/anti-malware, RBAC).

Able to work independently in complex environments, communicate effectively, and execute migrations with minimal downtime.
