Function
We're looking for a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Specialist to join an innovative Operational Excellence team within a leading international manufacturing organisation.
This is more than a development role. You'll help shape a Power Platform Community of Practice, introduce best practices and governance, coach colleagues across the business, and remain hands-on in building impactful digital solutions that improve operational performance.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow a Power Platform Community of Practice.
- Define standards, governance and best practices across multiple teams.
- Train, coach and support users with different technical backgrounds.
- Design and develop solutions using Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Improve existing dashboards, applications and automated workflows.
- Ensure high standards in data quality, security and governance.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint and other enterprise systems.
- Act as the go-to expert for complex Power Platform challenges.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of relevant experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience introducing shared ways of working, governance or Communities of Practice.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring and communication skills.
- Experience integrating enterprise data sources such as SQL, Snowflake and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of data governance, security and best development practices.
- Fluent Dutch and good professional English.
- Experience within manufacturing, pharma or another regulated environment is a strong plus.
Practical Details
- Location: Geel, Belgium (on-site presence required for workshops and coaching)
- Hybrid: Remote work possible for remaining activities
- Duration: Initial 3-month assignment with possible extension
- Start: As soon as possible
- Languages: Dutch (mandatory) and English
