Senior Mobile Developer

We're looking for a talented mobile developer to join our client's team, playing a crucial role in enhancing a user-centered platform that serves thousands of users daily. This position emphasizes the importance of quality, accessibility, and consistency, ensuring the platform functions seamlessly for everyone, regardless of their digital skills or devices. You will work within an ecosystem that integrates local and federal components both technically and visually, demanding a keen understanding of design systems, component architecture, and the implications of front-end choices on end-users.

Responsibilities

• Develop native applications for mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
• Test, build, and publish mobile applications with a strong focus on quality.
• Implement testing and automation frameworks for mobile applications.
• Collaborate effectively within a Scrum team to achieve common objectives.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in mobile app development, specifically for Android and iOS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Familiarity with testing tools and code profiling, as well as experience using code versioning (e.g., GIT).
• Experience with the Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket) is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within a Scrum environment.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT is mandatory.
• Fluency in Dutch at European CEFR level C2 is essential, along with strong English language skills.

Additional Skills & Background

Successful candidates will also demonstrate:

• Experience in implementing design systems and previous work within a governmental context.
• Any experience related to Flemish building blocks is a bonus.
• A sense of ownership, independence, teamwork, and analytical thinking.
