Senior .NET Application Architect

Function

We’re looking for a Senior Application Architect to join our client’s team and play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation. This is an opportunity to shape the architectural vision behind the complete rewrite of a mission-critical business application within a modern cloud-based environment. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that architecture continuously evolves in line with business objectives and product strategy.

The Role

As the architectural authority, you will define and drive the application and integration architecture for a full rebuild of a core enterprise platform. You translate architectural vision into clear, actionable guidance for development teams and ensure that models, standards, and design patterns are not only understood — but successfully implemented.

You will:

• Define end-to-end application and integration architecture in a cloud-native landscape

• Guide development teams in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions

• Align architectural decisions with business goals and product management priorities

• Act as a bridge between C-level stakeholders and technical teams

• Promote best practices, standards, and reusable architectural patterns

• Operate within a scaled Agile framework environment

The Ideal Profile

We are looking for a senior professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities.

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as an Application Architect

• At least 5 years of experience within a scaled Agile environment (e.g. SAFe)

• Proven experience designing cloud-based application and integration architectures

• Ability to communicate confidently at both executive and technical levels

• Servant leader mindset, fostering co-creation and team ownership

• Strong autonomy and accountability in delivering results

• Business knowledge in regulated or socio-economic domains is a plus

Practical Information

• Hybrid working model: 2 days onsite in Brussels, 3 days remote

• Native-level fluency in one national language, with strong written and spoken communication skills
