Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement tailored network solutions and procedures.
• Manage escalated (L3) incidents, responding swiftly to resolve complex IT issues.
• Create and execute both short- and long-term strategies for assigned infrastructure components.
• Continuously assess and optimize infrastructure performance, stability, and availability.
• Test and implement monitoring tools to enhance system continuity and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and robust network support.
• Stay informed of technological advancements by attending seminars and maintaining industry relationships.
• Document procedures for users and colleagues, ensuring resources are up-to-date and accessible.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years as a Senior Network Engineer with strong results-oriented skills.
• Proven expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, Cisco technologies, data cabling, security protocols, firewall, and VPN.
• Knowledge of network diagnosis, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Experienced in DevNetOps, with SAFe Agile experience being a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work in multinational matrix environments.
• Familiarity with logistics and IT infrastructure management across clients, servers, and storage is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

• Fluent in Dutch and English, with occasional travel within the UK/Europe.
• Willing to work on-call outside regular hours, including potential weekend support as needed.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage complex, time-sensitive tasks with professionalism.
