Senior Network Security Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a specialized focus on F5 Load Balancing and DDoS protection. If you are passionate about security and have a knack for network infrastructure, we invite you to bring your expertise to an innovative and dynamic team.
The selected candidate will take on the crucial role of re-designing and implementing perimeter architectures, focusing on automation, and enhancing self-service capabilities within the F5 domain. This role involves working with established projects, making a significant impact on our client's network security practices.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage and optimize F5 technologies, specifically:
- Local Traffic Manager (LTM) / DNS with Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
- Application Services 3 Extensions (AS3) and Ansible for system and application services automation
- Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM) / DDoS Hybrid Defender (DHD) for L3-L4 DDoS mitigation
- Develop and implement solutions using forward proxy tools, similar to Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway.
- Utilize and innovate with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python, adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.
Required Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive experience with network management and build/release pipelines.
- Proficiency in:
- GitHub/BitBucket
- JSON / JavaScript Object Notation
- Python
- Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
- YAML

- Excellent command of the English language.
- Flexible to work onsite in Mechelen, with up to 50% of remote working
