Senior Product Manager

Function

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our client's team in strengthening their ICT department, where you will take a pivotal role in developing and optimizing their cloud infrastructure. This position offers you the opportunity to lead a dedicated cloud team while managing essential services on AWS and Azure, contributing to the future-ready framework of our client’s operations.

Responsibilities

You will oversee key team management and technical responsibilities while ensuring operational efficiencies. Your tasks will include:

• Leading and motivating the Cloud team and the FinOps Manager, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Managing the cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) in adherence to SLAs and optimizing the overall user experience.
• Collaborating with Cloud Architects and engineering teams to develop platform roadmaps while ensuring compliance with industry cloud standards.
• Documenting and maintaining Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) and managing service requests, incidents, and improvement plans.
• Leading cloud projects and managing budgets to achieve project objectives effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Key requirements include:

• Proven leadership experience in people management within a cloud IT environment.
• Deep familiarity with cloud services including Control Tower, RDS, Security Hub, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (preferably also in French).
• Ability to stay updated with the latest technological trends and implement innovative solutions.
• Experience with cloud cost management and optimization (FinOps) and familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• A bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
