Senior Product Owner

Function

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, where you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and end-users. By understanding their needs, preferences, and challenges, you'll be integral to shaping the product vision and ensuring the effective implementation of changes that align with the organization's digital strategy.

You will take on an array of responsibilities including:

• Developing a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, processes, and customer needs to guide product prioritization.
• Building robust relationships with stakeholders and customers to ensure continuous alignment and communication.
• Leading product strategy, lifecycle management, and long-term planning efforts.
• Monitoring industry trends to keep strategies relevant, and proposing innovative solutions as needed.
• Creating product roadmaps and release plans that align with customer expectations and business goals.
• Translating business and user needs into actionable product and technical requirements.
• Managing the Product Backlog by ensuring clear prioritization and readiness for each Sprint.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure understanding, scoping, and delivery of functionalities.
• Overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure features meet design requirements and customer standards.
• Identifying risks and proactively resolving issues to maintain project momentum.

The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical and non-technical skills:

• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of SOA, APIs, Microservices, REST, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to convey complex technical information to varied audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with good coaching and training skills.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with proficiency in French considered a plus.
