We're looking for a seasoned consultant to join our client's team as they embark on a significant and complex cloud transformation program. This initiative focuses on modernizing the IT landscape and migrating databases within a two-language environment, engaging with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in integrating business, IT, and executive functions, steering the project towards successful execution and sustainable enhancements.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take on several key responsibilities, including:

• Managing the end-to-end planning, steering, and delivery of the cloud transformation program, which encompasses migrations and modernization efforts.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams comprising internal staff and external partners, while coordinating multiple parallel streams of work.
• Engaging in stakeholder management at executive levels, ensuring clear reporting and decision-making processes, particularly with government partners.
• Establishing strong program governance within Agile frameworks, and managing risks, quality, and budget oversight.
• Ensuring technical coherence in the target architecture through collaboration with enterprise architects and operations teams.
• Facilitating smooth change management and transitioning processes, including knowledge transfer and reskilling initiatives for internal teams.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Applied Economic Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of program/project management experience in complex IT environments, with significant exposure to cloud transformation initiatives over at least five years.
• Proven experience in migrations from on-premises to public cloud, particularly within critical business contexts.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with exceptional communication skills for conveying complex concepts to varied stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate and manage relationships across varying levels of management, demonstrating diplomatic aptitude in multilingual settings.

Language Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in one of the following languages, with a functional command of the second:

• Dutch or French (native or equivalent proficiency, must understand the other language)
• English (fluent, with proficiency in technical documentation)
