Senior Project Leader

Function

We're looking for a dynamic consultant to join our client's team, focusing on leading diverse projects within a key division responsible for developing applications related to life insurance products. This role involves working with a microfocus mainframe emulator and various front-end technologies while managing critical project activities that require strong leadership and collaboration across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Organize project governance and ensure timelines are met.
• Manage multiple IT projects, particularly on the application side, with a focus on insurance services.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

Our ideal consultant will possess the following skills:

• Mandatory Personal Skills: Excellent communication tailored to diverse audiences, methodical and proactive approach, self-driven, results-oriented with an eye for quality, dynamic analytical abilities, quick learning, and client focus.
• Preferred Personal Skills: Direct and concise in communication, strong active listening abilities.
• Business Experience: Minimum of 10 years in managing IT projects, with demonstrated capacity for overseeing high-scale projects (over 1000 mandays) and a background in insurance services.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Functional Experience: Familiarity with Prince-2 project management methodology, experience with waterfall methodologies, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Preferred Experience: Understanding of test management principles and business analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
