Senior Project Leader infrastructure

We are looking for a consultant to join our client's team, focusing on the hands-on management of IT infrastructure projects. This role requires a proactive individual capable of leading initiatives autonomously while ensuring effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of IT projects, including:

• Defining project structure and developing execution plans, encompassing scenarios, timelines, and budgets.
• Managing and monitoring the execution of projects with detailed planning, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Reporting on project progress and addressing any challenges that may arise.
• Collaborating effectively with all parties involved in the projects to stimulate, coordinate, motivate, and guide the teams.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess strong communicative and writing skills, as well as negotiation abilities and coaching expertise. A methodical and organized approach is essential for determining priorities and coordinating various elements of projects.

You should have proven proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, particularly:

• Jira and Confluence
• ITIL and Prince2

A background in operational management of IT infrastructure projects, especially within cloud environments, is highly desirable. Relevant academic qualifications or equivalent experience will be a plus.

Required Skills

We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Agile methodologies
• Database management
• DevOps practices
• Network architecture (LAN/WAN, Cloud networking)
• Openshift / Kubernetes environments
• Security measures (ATP, NDR, EDR, firewalls, etc.)
• Virtualization & containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with knowledge of French being an advantage.
