We're looking for an expert to join our client's team in revitalizing a mobile application dedicated to providing weather updates to the public. The project involves a complete overhaul of the application's UI and codebase, transitioning to a modern cross-platform framework suitable for both Android and iOS. Our client prefers the use of React Native for the app's development to ensure efficiency and compatibility.

The individual will be responsible for leading the application development process, implementing best practices in performance engineering, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Collaboration with designers and other developers will be crucial to create a user-friendly mobile experience.

• Expertise in Mobile Application Development, specifically with React Native
• Proficient in Caching, Data Visualization, and Data Preparation
• Familiarity with Graphic design tools like Figma
• Experience with GIS and source control using GIT
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and WCAG standards
• Performance engineering experience to enhance application efficiency

• Fluency in English and Dutch is required; French is a plus
• A comprehensive background in mobile application development
• Adept at collaborative work within diverse teams
