We’re looking for a Release Manager to join our client’s forward-thinking ICT Applications team, operating within a high-impact data domain at the heart of the energy transition.
Our client is navigating major transformation initiatives that are reshaping market operations, modernizing core systems, and enabling next-generation energy services. This role sits within a dynamic program-driven environment where multiple strategic projects converge — from stabilizing and renewing central market systems to enabling innovative tariff methodologies, expanding energy-sharing models, supporting submetering complexities, and modernizing metering processes in response to the rapid growth of digital meters and increasing data volumes. The environment is complex, cross-functional, and deeply integrated with metering, asset management, financial, and reporting systems.
Role
As Release Manager, you will operate at the center of a program-based structure, orchestrating releases across multiple projects and technology stacks. You ensure smooth planning, coordination, communication, and execution of releases while maintaining alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage releases across multiple projects within a program environment

Plan, prepare, communicate, and follow up on releases end-to-end

Align release cycles across various technology stacks and release management tools

Coordinate assigned projects and ensure timely and structured delivery

Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication

Use ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, TopDesk or similar) to support release and incident processes

Support cross-domain collaboration (e.g., metering, billing, structural systems, reporting, transition initiatives)
Profile

Proven experience in Release Management (preparation, coordination, communication, follow-up)

Demonstrated experience managing releases within program-driven environments involving multiple parallel projects

Strong background as a planner and project organizer

Experience working with multiple technology stacks and release tooling

Proven coordination experience with both internal teams and external stakeholders

Experience in the Belgian energy market is required

Hands-on experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, TopDesk, or similar platforms

Scrum Master certification (certificate required)

Strong communication skills

Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) and a solid working knowledge of French
