Senior SAFe Transformation Consultant

We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team, supporting their transition to a Lean-Agile enterprise model through the structured implementation of SAFe® 6.0. This role is crucial in guiding strategy alignment, operational execution, and IT delivery integration, ensuring a sustainable and effective adoption of SAFe principles and practices within a transformation-focused environment.
Responsibilities
The consultant will take charge of the end-to-end implementation of SAFe® 6.0 throughout the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, maintaining, and executing a transformation roadmap aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Coaching and mentoring executive leadership, senior management, and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in SAFe practices and Lean-Agile mindsets.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business strategy and delivery execution.
- Driving stakeholder engagement and proactive management throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Facilitating alignment between operational/business demand functions and IT delivery teams.
- Establishing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices as necessary.
- Guiding value stream identification and supporting ART launch preparation and execution.
- Defining transformation success metrics, actively measuring progress, and adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must hold a Certified SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) designation, with deep practical experience in leading SAFe® 6.0 implementations and a proven history of driving large-scale Agile and Lean transformations. Key technical qualifications include:
- Extensive hands-on experience applying SAFe® 6.0 in complex organizational frameworks.
- Strong experience in coaching ARTs, value streams, and senior leadership teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Lean-Agile practices and organizational change management.
- Experience connecting business-side strategic demand with IT delivery frameworks.
- Fluency in English and Dutch, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
