Function

We’re looking for a Senior SAP Basis (SAP BC) Consultant to join our client’s IT team and ensure the stability, performance, and security of their SAP landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the technical backbone of the SAP environment, guaranteeing high availability and optimal system performance. You will work closely with functional teams, ABAP developers, and infrastructure specialists to support daily operations and ongoing SAP initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
As Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will oversee the technical administration and operational continuity of the SAP platform.

• Ensure the operational availability, performance, and security of the SAP environment (Maintenance in Operational Conditions – MCO).

• Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrades, and monitoring of SAP ECC servers, with occasional support for S/4HANA environments.

• Manage and supervise the SAP transport landscape across development, testing, and production environments to ensure smooth system integration.

• Provide advanced technical support by troubleshooting complex issues, managing incidents, and supporting application maintenance activities.

• Administer user accounts, access rights, and system security settings.

• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, and IT teams on system migrations and data management initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation related to the SAP environment.

Profile & Experience
Our client is looking for a highly experienced SAP Basis specialist capable of managing complex enterprise SAP infrastructures.

• Strong experience in SAP Basis (SAP BC) administration in enterprise environments.

• Proven experience managing SAP ECC environments and familiarity with S/4HANA platforms.

• Experience with system monitoring, upgrades, performance optimization, and incident management.

• Strong knowledge of SAP transport management and system integration processes.

• Experience managing system security, user access, and authorization concepts within SAP.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong documentation and operational governance practices.

Engagement Details

• Full-time assignment with an estimated duration of approximately 2 years (around 440 working days).

• Standard working schedule of 40 hours per week during business hours (Monday to Friday).

• Minimum on-site presence of 3 days per week at the client’s headquarters.

• Work outside standard office hours requires prior approval from the client.

• Availability planning must consider operational continuity and project constraints.
