Senior SAP S/4 HANA Technical Quality Assurance Expert

Function

We're looking for an experienced SAP Developer to join our client's team and contribute to the development of innovative technical solutions within a complex SAP environment. In this role, you'll translate functional business requirements into robust, scalable and maintainable technical solutions. You'll combine strong backend development expertise with modern SAP frontend technologies, working across SAP S/4HANA environments and contributing to the continuous improvement of enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into effective SAP technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance and maintain SAP applications using modern ABAP development practices.
• Work on frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless integration between different SAP components.
• Design and implement integration and data exchange solutions using standard SAP tools and protocols.
• Contribute to the development of reusable, scalable and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP development, particularly with SAP UI5/Fiori and ABAP Objects.
• Strong expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, Workflow, IDoc, ALV Grid and ABAP Web Dynpro.
• Practical experience with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.
• Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including CDS Views, OData Services and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• At least 5 years of relevant project experience in one or more SAP modules, preferably within S/4HANA environments.
• Proven experience with SAP Data Services, web services and data exchange formats and protocols such as SOAP, XML, JSON and REST.
• Strong understanding of development best practices, with a focus on code quality, reusability and long-term maintainability.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• A structured approach and the ability to bridge functional requirements with technical implementation.
