Senior Security Officer

Function

We're looking for an experienced Senior Security Officer to join our client's security team. In this advisory role, you'll help strengthen the organization's security posture by providing expert guidance on security policies, standards, and best practices. You'll work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure security requirements are effectively integrated across the organization.

The Role

As a Senior Security Officer, you will:

• Advise internal teams on all aspects of information and cybersecurity policies.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of security standards, controls, and governance.
• Provide expert guidance on security risks, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout projects and operational activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization's security framework.

Your Profile

We're looking for a professional with:

• Proven experience in information security or cybersecurity advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of security governance, risk management, and security policies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to translate security requirements into practical recommendations.
• Fluency in either Dutch or French.
