Senior Software Tester
Function
We're looking for a seasoned consultant to join our client's team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to validate software functionalities and contribute to the enhancement of testing processes within the organization.
Responsibilities
You will engage in various testing activities, ensuring the software meets specifications on technical and functional levels. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Developing detailed test strategies.
- Reviewing business requirements and analysis documents.
- Creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans.
- Monitoring defects and issues while generating test reports.
- Automating test cases using relevant tools.
- Providing support to teams and assisting with project test planning and effort estimation.
- Driving improvements in processes and deliverables related to testing.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, particularly in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing methodologies. Specific requirements include:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing, API testing, and developing test strategies.
- Deep understanding of testing processes and methodologies (ISTQB certification is a plus).
- Experience testing Java services, web services, REST APIs, and proxy services.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Xray, and ReadyAPI.
- Experience working in Agile environments and knowledge of Groovy Script or equivalent.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English or French and English, with a good understanding of the other language.

- You can expect to work 40% from the office and 60% remotely.
- A two-round interview process will take place via Teams with the team lead and HR representatives.
