Senior Software Tester
Function
Our client is looking for a senior test specialist to support a major test team within a quality-driven and socially important environment. In this role, you will help prepare, execute, and follow up on testing activities for projects and changes, contributing to reliable releases and a structured test approach. You will work closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders while taking ownership, showing initiative, and maintaining a strong sense of accountability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, execute, and monitor test activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Design and maintain test scenarios for projects and changes.
- Perform functional testing and regression testing.
- Safeguard the quality of releases and support a disciplined test process.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Contribute to a professional, structured, and proactive testing approach.
Profile
The ideal candidate has strong experience in testing large, business-critical applications and is comfortable working independently in a demanding environment. You combine technical understanding with a pragmatic approach and are able to translate requirements into effective test coverage.
- Proven experience as a test specialist on large, business-critical applications.
- Strong background in formal testing methods and techniques.
- Experience with test automation.
- Ability to take responsibility and work proactively with minimal supervision.
- Experience signing an IT code of conduct and NDA is required.
