Senior Solution Architect

Function

We are now looking for a Senior Solution Architect to help shape the future of our core product Globo, ensuring that its architecture meets the highest standards of scalability, performance, and maintainability. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will define the technical vision and end-to-end architecture of a key product. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Agile squads, and business stakeholders to align the product roadmap with enterprise strategy. Your mission is to design robust, scalable, and future-proof solutions, guide development teams, and ensure smooth integration with AS400-based systems and other applications.

Key Responsibilities

Define and Co-create the Technical Vision

• Lead product architecture design and align with enterprise guidelines.

• Ensure product standardisation, reusability, and technical best practices.

• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Ensure Product & Enterprise Alignment

• Work with Enterprise Architects to guarantee cross-product consistency.

• Oversee integration between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the broader IT landscape.

• Validate architecture decisions through governance boards, ensuring compliance with security and data standards.

Guide and Support Development Teams

• Act as a mentor for Agile squads, providing architectural guidance.

• Review solution designs, data models, and code for adherence to principles.

• Anticipate technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Innovate and Continuously Improve

• Promote the use of modern technologies and drive ongoing improvements.

Profile Requirements

Technical

• Proven experience in solution or product architecture, especially in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE).

• Knowledge of AS400 data landscapes, integration patterns, and event-driven architecture.

• Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, REST APIs, microservices, messaging, ESB, and API Management.

• Familiarity with data management and governance best practices.

• Experience working in Agile environments is a strong plus.

Non-Technical

• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.

• Strong ability to bridge business and technical needs.

• Leadership skills to influence without direct authority.

• Excellent communication skills in English; French or Dutch is a strong plus.

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent by experience).

• 5+ years in a similar role.
