Senior System Administrator
Function
We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, focusing on system management and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have profound technical expertise and a solid track record in managing various systems, ensuring functionality and security.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for setting up, managing, and maintaining systems with a keen eye on performance and stability. You will engage in managing Microsoft 365 environments, with emphasis on Exchange Online and MS Teams, alongside overseeing system operations and security protocols.
- Implement and administer system management tasks across various platforms.
- Handle Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online and MS Teams.
- Ensure advanced management of Active Directory and Federation Services.
- Oversee Hyper-V virtualization and Windows Server systems, particularly 2016 and later.
- Utilize System Center for server and client management.
- Leverage PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.
Ideal Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced experience in system administration and infrastructure solutions, ideally within the public or governmental sector. You should also possess knowledge of relevant ITIL processes, particularly in change management. Fluency in Dutch at the C2 level of the CEFR is essential, along with proficiency in English.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator focused on system setup, management, and maintenance.
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Unix/Linux/Windows systems, Mainframe systems, middleware, network systems, etc.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes related to change management.
- Experience with ICT infrastructure solutions
