Field System Engineer

Function

Our client is looking for a motivated IT System Engineer to play a key role in supporting and optimizing IT infrastructures for various customers. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring that systems run efficiently and securely.

Your Responsibilities

• Install and configure new systems for clients, including hardware (printers, firewalls, security components, etc.) and software (Microsoft Office, business-specific applications, etc.).
• Troubleshoot technical and functional issues in existing installations.
• Advise and guide clients on the secure and efficient use of their IT systems.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding both technical and functional IT-related matters.
• Provide user support and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Your Profile

• A degree in IT or equivalent experience, with strong knowledge of both hardware and software.
• Experience with the installation and configuration of firewalls and security tools.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining PCs, servers, and peripheral devices.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and French.
• Customer-focused, stress-resistant, eager to learn, and proactive.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in an IT service-oriented environment is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support if required.
