Senior Technical Analyst
Function
We’re looking for a seasoned Technical Analyst to join our client’s team and play a key role in the design and evolution of complex digital solutions. You’ll operate at the intersection of architecture, development, and business needs, helping transform functional and technical requirements into reliable, scalable solutions within a demanding IT environment. Working alongside architects, developers, analysts, and operational stakeholders, you’ll contribute to high-quality delivery while keeping long-term maintainability and system stability firmly in focus.
Responsibilities
- Design technical solutions and applications based on functional and technical requirements, in line with established IT standards and architecture principles.
- Translate requirements into clear technical designs, including design documentation, UML diagrams, and process descriptions.
- Ensure solutions are correctly implemented, integrated, tested, and rolled out across the relevant systems.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of a broad and interconnected IT landscape, including how applications and systems interact.
- Safeguard the long-term quality, maintainability, and reliability of applications and platforms within your scope.
- Prepare and execute test cases, including unit testing and non-regression testing, and identify and communicate required regression tests.
- Act as a key technical point of contact for project leadership and IT management, proactively highlighting risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and delays.
- Collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure solutions fit effectively within the wider IT ecosystem.
Technical Profile
- 6+ years of experience in technical analysis or a comparable role.
- Strong knowledge of .NET and SQL/NoSQL, with solid understanding of design patterns, software engineering, system integration, administration, and data monitoring.
- Experience producing technical documentation, UML diagrams, and solution designs.
- Familiarity with, or strong motivation to develop expertise in, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), containerization, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Angular is a plus.
- Hands-on understanding of unit testing and non-regression testing.
The Ideal Candidate
You combine an analytical, pragmatic, and structured mindset with a strong sense of ownership. You’re comfortable navigating complex IT environments involving legacy systems, multiple integrations, and established processes, while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You work independently but thrive in multidisciplinary teams and communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts and know how to turn complex technical challenges into practical, sustainable solutions.
Languages: Fluent Dutch and English are required.
