Senior Technical .Net Analyst/ Developer

We're looking for an experienced consultant to join our client's team, bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation in complex maritime environments. Your contributions will encompass everything from analysis and design to development, integration, testing, and support, ensuring the delivery of high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions within the Microsoft .NET and Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining .NET (C#) applications and RESTful APIs in accordance with SOLID principles, Design Patterns, DDD, CQRS, and Clean Architecture. You will translate functional requirements into technical designs that adhere to enterprise and security standards while also designing event-driven and microservice-based solutions utilizing Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs. Your role involves integrating various Azure components, working with SQL Server, Dapper, and Entity Framework Core, and ensuring data quality and security across multiple domains.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years in software development and/or solution design specifically within .NET and Azure environments.
• Experience with maritime logistics and government institutions is essential.
• Expertise in .NET 6/7/8, C#, OOP, SOLID, DDD, CQRS, Azure Services, SQL, security compliance, and DevOps practices.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch is mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Advanced skills in .NET 6/7/8, C#, Azure Services (like App Services, Functions, and Service Bus).
• Proficient in designing and developing EDI/EDIFACT streams as well as strong data integration capabilities.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and working with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform/Vault.
• Knowledge of shared coding practices, such as TDD and API contract testing with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience in stakeholder management and team leadership, with the ability to present technical designs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
