Senior Test Coordinator

Function

We're looking for a seasoned consultant to join our client's Agile product teams as a Senior Test Coordinator with a strong interest in test automation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of complex, interconnected digital solutions that support various stakeholders across a public-oriented sector. You will work closely with internal teams, product owners, and external partners to ensure high-quality software delivery across the organization.

Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a central part in the test coordination of multiple functional domains. Your primary mission will be to oversee, execute, and continuously improve both manual and automated test strategies within an Agile framework. Key tasks include:

• Analyzing functional documentation to understand expected system behavior

• Writing and executing test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria

• Preparing relevant (anonymized or fictitious) test data for functional and integration tests

• Coordinating acceptance testing in collaboration with business experts

• Updating and enriching the regression test suite, both manually and for automation

• Supporting the automation team in identifying automation candidates and helping build a scalable test automation framework

• Actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as demos, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Shaping and following up on test strategy and coordination involving external stakeholders

Technical Environment

You’ll operate in a two-week sprint cycle within multidisciplinary Agile teams. Test execution and management are facilitated through:

• Jira for sprint planning and tracking

• Confluence for documentation

• Zephyr for test case management

• Leapwork for test automation of regression cycles

• Postman (Enterprise) for API testing

• .NET, SAP, Case Management systems, and low-code platforms for custom application development

• Microsoft development platform and public/private cloud infrastructure for deployment

The Ideal Candidate

We're seeking a professional who combines hands-on testing capabilities with strong coordination skills and a continuous improvement mindset. The ideal profile includes:

• Extensive experience in test coordination within Agile software development environments

• Proficiency in manual testing, test data setup, and test case design

• Experience working with test tools such as Zephyr, Leapwork, and Postman

• Strong understanding of test automation principles and frameworks

• Affinity for collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders

• Familiarity with enterprise platforms like SAP and Microsoft development stacks is a plus

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Dutch and English is required
