Service Desk Manager

We're looking for a knowledgeable consultant to join our client's dynamic team. This role requires a solid educational background in a technical or engineering field, complemented by relevant experience in ICT technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate substantial expertise in specific technical domains and possess strong skills in service delivery management.
Responsibilities and Tasks
The responsibilities associated with this position include overseeing service delivery and managing changes effectively while implementing service models. You will leverage your experience with ITIL and play a pivotal role in utilizing tools such as Jira. The position also entails project management duties, especially within complex organizational structures, and the potential to operate in a public sector environment. Your ability to adapt to agile methodologies will be crucial for this role.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should present the following qualifications and experiences:
- Documented experience as a service delivery manager (minimum 5 years)
- Proven expertise in change management
- Familiarity with service model implementation
- Strong background in ITIL practices
- Experience with Jira (minimum 3 years)
- Expertise in the relevant technology or similar technology (minimum 8 years)
- Fluent in Dutch at European CEFR - level C2
- Documented experience as a project manager (minimum 3 years)
- Background in complex organizations and the public sector
- Experience within an SAP environment (minimum 3 years)
- Proficiency in agile practices (minimum 3 years)
- A higher education degree (Master or Bachelor) in a technical or engineering field or equivalent experience in ICT technologies
In addition to the above, fluency in English and Dutch is required.
