We're looking for a consultant to join our client's team

Our client plays a pivotal role in the secure management of radioactive waste and the decommissioning of nuclear facilities. As part of this dynamic team, you will engage in projects that significantly impact both the environment and society.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries and issues related to the migration to Windows 11. You will provide support and service throughout the entire migration process for both the IT team and end-users across various locations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line support for end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems concerning the Windows 11 migration.
  • Documenting solutions and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintaining effective communication with users and ensuring timely feedback.
  • Collaborating with IT teams on issues and inquiries regarding the Windows 11 migration.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in Windows migrations and at least three years in an IT role. The ideal profile includes:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a practical and autonomous approach.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, particularly SCCM and Intune.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, while proficiency in French is a plus.

Additional Requirements

To ensure a strong fit for this role, candidates should also consider the following:

  • Previous experience as a Medior IT Helpdesk Officer is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Ability to present a specific example of a Windows migration project worked on, including challenges faced and solutions implemented.
  • Distance from candidate's residence to the site in Dessel will also be assessed.
