Function

We're looking for a dedicated support professional to join our client's team, providing first and second line assistance. This role is essential in ensuring effective communication and technical support for users, contributing to a streamlined and efficient technology environment.

Responsibilities and Tasks

The successful candidate will take on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing exemplary assistance via telephone and ensuring clear communication with users.
  • Managing and utilizing ticketing and service desk tools effectively.
  • Supporting Windows desktop environments, including installation and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Overseeing user management in Windows Active Directory and providing support for systems like DHCP, DNS, and group policies.
  • Addressing user issues in virtual environments, specifically within Citrix and VMware frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in a helpdesk role for at least 5 years, with a minimum of 4 years as a servicedesk professional.
  • Fluency in Dutch (CEFR Level C2) and proficient in English.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL Service Support principles.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management technologies and VPN mechanisms.
  • A solid foundation in network basics.

Technical Skills

The candidate should have hands-on experience with the following technologies:

  • Windows desktop environment management, specifically Windows 11 and Office 2016 or later.
  • Service desk tools experience, with knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) management.
  • Understanding of standard PC installations, Office applications, and Active Directory operations.
