We're looking for a skilled Sitecore Developer to join our client's web technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who is passionate about building modern, high-performing digital platforms and delivering outstanding user experiences. Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will play a key role in the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of enterprise-level web solutions, while contributing to the evolution of the client's digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance sophisticated web platforms using Sitecore CMS.
• Deliver scalable, secure and user-centric web solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate applications and ensure seamless real-time data exchange.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs into intuitive, responsive and high-quality user interfaces.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise platform performance to ensure reliability and an excellent end-user experience.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve browser-specific issues when required.
• Drive the adoption of modern development practices, emerging technologies and Sitecore innovations.
• Define and implement testing strategies to guarantee platform quality, stability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing progress updates and proactively addressing technical challenges.
• Participate in an on-call support rotation and assist in the resolution of critical production incidents when necessary.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Sitecore development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Sitecore 10 XP, including containers, analytics and marketing forms.
• Proven experience delivering solutions within public transport and e-commerce environments.
• Hands-on experience with Sitecore migrations and version upgrade projects, with at least two successful implementations completed.
• Strong expertise in performance optimisation and web platform scalability.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, design patterns and modern software development principles.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams and collaborative cross-functional environments.
• A coaching mindset with the ability to support and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (C-level proficiency or equivalent).
• Willingness to provide on-demand 24/7 support for production incidents.
• Availability to work predominantly on-site at the client's location, depending on project requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
