Software Tester

Function

Our client is seeking a skilled Dutch speaking Software Tester to perform various testing activities. The main responsibilities include creating test scenarios, executing software tests, organizing user training sessions, and ensuring smooth software installations. Additionally, the Software Tester will collaborate closely with end-users and other IT team members, both internal and external, to deliver high-quality and efficient IT applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test scenarios and conduct software testing.
• Create user training materials and provide support to end-users.
• Handle software installations and ensure their proper functioning.
• Participate in functional analysis and bug analysis, along with batch follow-up, to deliver effective IT applications.
• Collaborate closely with end-users and other IT team members, adhering to existing procedures and guidelines.
• Focus on achieving high-quality applications in terms of performance, user-friendliness, maintainability, and manageability.
• Work within budgetary constraints.
• Provide production support, including managing the Software Installation Desk and batch follow-up.

Profile:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree with an affinity for informatics or equivalent experience.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an IT organization with internal and external clients.
• Quick understanding of business and IT processes.
• Preferably have knowledge and experience in IT applications.
• Possess excellent listening skills.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Demonstrate creativity and critical thinking.
• Familiarity with MS Office Tools.
• Proficient in both Dutch and/or French, with a good command of English as an added benefit.
