We’re looking for a seasoned consultant to join our client’s team, playing a key role in shaping the future of energy platforms and flexibility market solutions within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. This is a high-impact position for someone who combines deep architectural expertise with strong knowledge of energy market dynamics and stakeholder coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will drive the design and evolution of advanced flexibility platforms and market processes. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders.

• Define and maintain end-to-end solution architectures for flexibility market initiatives and related processes
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear architecture blueprints
• Align architecture across multiple platform stakeholders, including grid and market participants
• Guide the evolution of flexibility platforms, ensuring scalability, consistency, and long-term maintainability
• Contribute to architecture governance, solution strategy, and RFP preparation
• Support agile delivery environments and facilitate collaboration across distributed teams

Key Skills & Expertise

• Proven experience (8+ years) as a Solution Architect, ideally within the energy sector
• Strong knowledge of flexibility markets and related processes, with hands-on exposure to flexibility platforms
• Experience coordinating across complex platform landscapes involving multiple stakeholders
• Solid background in architecture modelling using tools and frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Senior-level expertise in structured architectural methodologies (e.g., Normalized Systems)
• Proven involvement in co-authoring RFPs and contributing to strategic solution design
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum), ideally in large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of energy market structures, with the ability to navigate complex ecosystems
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complexity into clear solutions
• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) and proficient in either Dutch or French (C1 level)
