Solution Architect

Function

We’re looking for a Solution Architect to join our client’s IT organisation and play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-level technology solutions. In this position, you will translate business and technical requirements into scalable architectural designs while ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise architecture strategy. You will act as a senior technical advisor within project teams and collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, infrastructure specialists and stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical architectures for complex IT solutions, including applications, integrations, interfaces, data flows and system components
• Translate business, functional and technical requirements into clear architectural blueprints
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure and development teams to define optimal solution designs
• Ensure integration between applications, systems and platforms across the organisation
• Contribute to architectural standards, governance, processes and best practices
• Support buy-versus-build evaluations and technology selection decisions
• Develop reusable solution patterns and integration frameworks
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to internal teams
• Monitor technology and market trends and assess their potential business impact

Profile

• Strong expertise in solution architecture, application design, systems integration and software engineering
• In-depth knowledge of modern programming languages, object-oriented design principles and software development methodologies
• Experience designing enterprise applications and custom integration solutions
• Solid understanding of architecture frameworks, technical blueprints and reusable design principles
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments is considered an asset
• Background within organisations involved in manufacturing, logistics or distribution is a plus
