Solution Architect
Function
We’re recruiting a Solution Architect to support our client in the evolution of its enterprise IT landscape and digital transformation roadmap. In this role, you will design scalable and future-proof technology architectures that align business strategy with secure, sustainable, and efficient IT solutions.
You will take ownership of defining target solution architectures across applications, integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, security, identity management, and data domains. Working closely with executive leadership, business architects, and technical teams, you will translate architectural vision into actionable roadmaps, governance standards, and implementation guidelines. The first priority domain will focus on HR technology transformation, with future expansion into broader enterprise domains.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain target solution architectures across applications, integration, cloud, data, and security domains
- Analyze the current IT landscape, identify gaps and dependencies, and define modernization roadmaps
- Establish architecture principles, standards, governance frameworks, and reusable patterns
- Support strategic technology decisions through clear business-oriented communication and scenario analysis
- Lead architectural input for procurement, tendering, and vendor selection processes
- Monitor implementation quality and ensure alignment with the defined architecture vision
- Collaborate with business architects and transformation stakeholders to ensure end-to-end consistency
- Introduce architecture best practices, tools, templates, and governance processes across the organization
- Coach and mentor architects and technical stakeholders while contributing to the enterprise architecture community
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect in complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in integration architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, security, and enterprise applications
- Experience with architecture modeling frameworks and tools such as ArchiMate, UML, LeanIX, ADOIT, or Ardoq
- Demonstrated experience in technology governance and enterprise transformation programs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to advise and challenge executive stakeholders
- Experience with HR technology ecosystems and workforce/time registration solutions
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on architectural leadership
- Experience in service-oriented sectors such as healthcare, public services, or large operational organizations is a plus
- Previous involvement in procurement, RFP, or public tender processes is highly desirable
