Solution Architect

Function

We're looking for an experienced Software Architect to join our client's technology team and play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and innovative solutions within a critical public-sector environment. You will help define the technical vision for strategic projects and contribute to the evolution towards a modern cloud-native ecosystem.

Joining a large-scale ICT organization with numerous ongoing initiatives, you will work on architecture standards, system integrations, and technology adoption across complex environments. You will contribute to the implementation of modern approaches including cloud platforms, containerization, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for defining the technical direction of applications and ensuring the successful implementation of robust software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing software architectures aligned with functional requirements, technical constraints, and business objectives.
• Selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools, with a strong focus on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Creating architectural documentation, standards, guidelines, and technical blueprints.
• Providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to development teams.
• Designing and overseeing system integrations, including APIs, external services, and legacy platforms.
• Ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, and availability.
• Developing prototypes and technical proof of concepts to validate innovative approaches.
• Promoting software quality, security standards, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicating effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitoring technology trends and introducing relevant innovations into the organization.

Technical Profile

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software architecture and enterprise application development, with strong expertise in:

• Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#/.NET Core and modern .NET versions.
• Solution architecture and enterprise software design.
• Full-stack application architecture.
• REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Entity Framework and MVC frameworks.
• SQL databases and data modeling.
• WCF and integration technologies.
• Blazor and modern front-end development concepts.
• Version control and collaboration tools such as TFS and Git.
