Solution Designer

Function

We're looking for an experienced Solution Designer to join our client's team and play a key role in designing scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions. In this position, you will translate high-level solution architectures into detailed technical designs that enable development teams, infrastructure specialists, and external partners to successfully implement complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review high-level solution designs and provide recommendations based on existing system landscapes, technical constraints, and industry best practices.
• Produce detailed solution designs that support development, infrastructure, and third-party integration teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Design modular, reusable, and maintainable solution components, including interfaces, integration patterns, hosting requirements, and security architecture.
• Define disaster recovery approaches where required and ensure solutions comply with technology, infrastructure, and security standards.
• Create detailed technical documentation and design artefacts, including state transition diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and network connectivity diagrams.
• Design REST APIs aligned with enterprise standards and industry best practices.
• Review non-functional test results, refine solution designs where necessary, participate in technical design reviews, and provide guidance to development teams and stakeholders involved in system integrations.

Your Profile

You have at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Designer, with strong expertise in designing enterprise applications based on microservices architecture. You have hands-on experience integrating SaaS solutions into complex IT environments and are comfortable translating architectural concepts into detailed technical designs. You communicate fluently in English at C1 level, both spoken and written, and are available to work on-site at least two days per week.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate combines strong solution design expertise with solid Java development knowledge. You have experience applying object-oriented programming principles, Java collections, streams, and exception handling, as well as working with frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Maven or Gradle, and testing frameworks. You are experienced in designing secure, reusable REST APIs, promoting best practices, and collaborating effectively with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
