Function

We’re looking for a Senior Solution Designer to join our client’s team and lead the design and delivery of modern digital workplace solutions built on Microsoft 365. In this role, you will drive collaboration and productivity initiatives, combining business insight with technical expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions. You will operate as a key liaison between stakeholders, acting in a role similar to a Product Owner within a dynamic project environment.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Solution Designer, you will take ownership of end-to-end solution design and play a leading role in Microsoft 365 and content collaboration initiatives:

• Solution Design & Delivery
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into functional Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Design solutions aligned with governance, compliance, and security standards
  • Configure and customize Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, and Viva Engage
  • Integrate third-party tools and content management solutions within the M365 ecosystem
• AI & Innovation
  • Identify and assess AI-driven opportunities within digital collaboration scenarios
  • Design and implement Microsoft 365 Copilot use cases, including Copilot Chat and lightweight agents
  • Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise governance and compliance requirements
• Stakeholder Management & Facilitation
  • Lead workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders to gather requirements and promote best practices
  • Act as a bridge between business, project management, and technical teams
  • Support junior team members and contribute to solution alignment across stakeholders
• Project Delivery & Documentation
  • Produce high-quality solution documentation, estimates, and handover materials
  • Participate actively in project ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, steering committees)
  • Collaborate with administrators, security, and governance teams to ensure smooth delivery and operations

Profile – The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, Viva Engage)
• Proven experience in configuring and customizing Microsoft 365 solutions and related third-party tools
• Strong experience in organizing and facilitating workshops with business stakeholders
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• At least 3 years of experience working in structured project environments (Agile or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, including practical implementation of AI-driven use cases
• Ability to translate business needs into structured solution designs and realistic estimations
• Experience working in large and complex organizations is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with tools and concepts such as Syntex, AI Builder, Enterprise Search, or RAG-based solutions is a plus

Language & Practical Requirements

• Fluent in Dutch and English (minimum C1 level), with a good understanding of French (minimum B1 level)
• University degree or equivalent professional experience

Experience & Expertise

• Proven ability to design clear, structured, and business-aligned Microsoft 365 solutions
• Strong track record in requirements gathering, documentation, and solution handover
• Experience applying Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices in Microsoft 365 environments
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and operational best practices
• Demonstrated ability to translate AI opportunities into tangible business value using Microsoft 365 Copilot
