About the Role

As a SQL Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing both internal and client databases. You will be the go-to person for all SQL-related matters in new and existing projects, offering your expertise to the helpdesk for complex data challenges. Additionally, you will ensure timely escalation of issues to the Team Lead when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Oversee daily checks and maintenance of internal and client databases.
• Project Support: Take charge of all SQL-related aspects in new and existing projects.
• Helpdesk Support: Provide assistance to the helpdesk with complex data issues when extra expertise is required.
• Delivery and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all tasks are completed within the agreed scope, time, and budget.
• Communication and Documentation: Meticulously document your work to make it accessible to everyone who needs it.

The Ideal Candidate

• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of T-SQL, SQL Servers, database design, dynamic SQL, and table types. Experience with full-text search is a strong plus as well as knowledge of Business Centrals as ERP software.
• Stress Management: Capable of handling stress and pressure, remaining flexible with last-minute client changes.
• Proactive Problem Solver: Act quickly in case of potential escalations, discussing these with the team and the client to find efficient solutions.
• Customer Guidance: Assist clients without technical knowledge, evaluating their proposed solutions and offering alternatives if necessary.
