We're looking for a dedicated consultant to join our client's team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and security of their IT environment. You will be part of a passionate team focused on delivering excellent service, with a core mission of improving operations through innovative technological solutions. This position is essential for maintaining the continuity and support needed for complex IT issues.
This position is for a recplacement.
Responsibilities
In this diverse role, you will:
- Provide second-line support for complex IT inquiries not resolved by first-line support, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Oversee daily management by maintaining and monitoring networks, servers, and platforms to ensure a stable IT environment.
- Collaborate on optimization projects and configurations with clear deliverables aimed at continuous improvement of IT operations.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and possess a variety of skills:
- Proficient in analyzing and resolving complex IT problems beyond the scope of first-line support.
- Solid understanding of networking (WAN, LAN, VPN, firewall) and systems (Windows, Linux, Active Directory, M365, virtualization).
- Experience with workstation and server management, software installations, and upgrades.
- Keen knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including patch management and endpoint security.
- Ability to automate recurring tasks using PowerShell.
Moreover, you will need excellent communication skills to interact with non-technical users, and display a customer-oriented mindset, demonstrating empathy and understanding of the impact of IT incidents. Strong analytical skills to apply root cause analysis systematically, along with good documentation practices to maintain IT processes, will be essential.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, enabling you to communicate effectively within a multi-lingual environment. Your willingness to contribute to the shared mission of service excellence is fundamental, as is your ability to work collaboratively with various technical teams and stakeholders.
