System Administrator

Function

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to play a key role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the IT environment within a professional and growing organization. This position combines operational system management, technical support, and continuous infrastructure improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IT lead on infrastructure improvements and upgrades
• Manage, maintain, and optimize servers, networks, and systems
• Provide support to colleagues on complex technical issues (2nd and 3rd line)
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls and endpoint protection
• Document configurations, procedures, and solutions
• Contribute to IT projects such as system migrations and audits
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection standards

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, System Administration, or equivalent through experience
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Solid understanding of networking and network protocols
• Experience with security solutions (firewalls, endpoint security, backup solutions)
• Knowledge of Linux is a plus
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
