We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's IT Infrastructure team. This role will provide essential support in managing server-related issues primarily focused on Windows and Azure, with additional opportunities to interact with Linux and OpenShift technologies. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong troubleshooting skills, mastery in system configuration, and a proactive approach to maintain service continuity and stability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows and Azure systems, ensuring a seamless integration with various IT components. Critical tasks include:

  • Support and maintain server systems, including upgrades and security patching.
  • Configuration and review of system monitoring to ensure availability and performance.
  • Collaboration with multiple teams and partners to resolve incidents effectively.
  • Documenting processes and translating technical language for diverse stakeholders.
  • Automating deployment routines and managing external partner interactions for incident management and change coordination.

Technical Skills

The right candidate should possess a strong technical background with at least 3 years of experience within a Windows and Azure environment, complemented by knowledge in:

  • Microsoft technologies: Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016-2019, Azure and Active Directory.
  • Linux systems, specifically Red Hat and CentOS.
  • DNS, DHCP configurations and troubleshooting across various environments.
  • Virtualization technologies and automation tools including GIT, Powershell, and Ansible.
  • Monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Dynatrace are considered an asset.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, paired with a proactive mindset to enhance processes. Key qualifications include:

  • Ability to efficiently manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Fluent communication skills in both English and Dutch, with French as an additional asset.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience with Microsoft Office and diagram software.
  • Having certifications related to the technologies mentioned is highly desirable.
