System Engineer

Function

We are looking for a System Administrator to strengthen our client’s IT operations team. This role is focused on maintaining and supporting an existing infrastructure environment, ensuring systems remain stable and operational.

Role & Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of the infrastructure environment. This is an operational role focused on keeping systems running smoothly rather than designing new architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and maintaining the existing VMware environment

• Supporting infrastructure components within Azure and Citrix

• Monitoring systems and resolving operational issues

• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure system stability

Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on system administrator who enjoys working in a stable operational environment.

• Solid experience with VMware administration

• Good working knowledge of Azure and Citrix

• Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills

• Able to work onsite, especially during the initial phase

• Easy commute to the Zwijndrecht area is preferred

Language requirements: Dutch and English
