System Engineer

Function

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's infrastructure team, serving as a technical referent with a strong expertise in operating systems, transfer tools, web servers, application servers, as well as container orchestration solutions. Your role will involve managing and enhancing the underlying infrastructure within a growing Cloud solutions environment. This position requires a proactive approach to maintain service efficiency and security while contributing to various transformation projects.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the operational condition of services while driving continuous improvement across the technical landscape. Your main activities will include:

• Maintaining operational services and ensuring safety and efficiency
• Conducting studies and deploying technical solutions
• Acting as a liaison with suppliers to manage technical aspects
• Engaging in the optimization of server environments and automating recurring tasks
• Managing incidents, diagnosing failures, and improving security measures
• Producing prototypes and implementing collaborative solutions with business lines

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will possess at least 6 years of relevant experience and must have a thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, including:

• Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS), IT cybersecurity, and architectural principles
• Windows systems in enterprise environments, specifically workstations and server L3 support
• PowerShell scripting and problem resolution techniques
• Management of production operations and performance indicator development
• Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies is preferred

Language Requirements & Soft Skills

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with knowledge of French considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and strong soft skills, including:
