Are you an experienced IT professional with expertise in managing large-scale Active Directory environments? Our client is seeking a System Engineer with a focus on Active Directory to join their team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the health, security, and performance of Active Directory services across an extensive and dynamic European environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a System Engineer specializing in Active Directory, your primary tasks will include:
- Ensuring timely and efficient support for Active Directory (AD) operations.
- Troubleshooting AD/LDAP authentication and authorization issues.
- Supporting DNS services, name resolution, and Certificate Authority services.
- Advising on application single sign-on (SSO) using AD Federated Services.
- Assisting Level 1 and Level 2 support teams with AD-related inquiries and issues.
- Monitoring, auditing, and implementing security measures for the AD environment.
- Keeping Domain Controllers updated with the latest Windows versions.
- Leading business-driven changes, including the integration of AD tools and services.
- Analyzing the AD environment to identify challenges and recommending improvements.
- Driving large-scale AD and Identity Management projects.
- Collaborating with senior staff to resolve escalated incidents and coordinating with global AD leaders.
What We’re Looking For
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- Senior exprience level in IT and business. Including at least 3 years managing complex Active Directory environments and services such as DNS, Certificate Authority (CA), ADFS, NPS, DHCP, LDAP(S), GPO, Kerberos, and Windows authentication.
- Hands-on experience with AD domain migrations, as well as Domain Controller installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Solid understanding of ITIL service management and experience in SLA reporting.
- Strong background in managing third-party vendors and service providers.
