System Engineer AIX

Function

For our client's internal projects, we are seeking an experienced System Engineer AIX.

System engineering tasks involving AIX in large-scale IT environments. You will be joining a team of 4 experts primarily focused on Power technology, on-premises in remote managed services, and/or in project form.

Key Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AIX on Power

  • Storage
  • Virtualization (VIOS, DLPAR, LPM)
  • SAN switches
  • Networking

• Excellent knowledge of AIX operating system, specifically in its administration

  • Vulnerability
  • System and network security
  • Performance and problem solving
  • Backup & Restore
  • Replication / disaster recovery
  • HACMP / Power HA
  • OS management AIX

Location: 1 day a week at the office

Language skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
