System Engineer M365

We are looking for a System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 to join our client’s IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency. You will work with Microsoft 365 and related cloud technologies to enhance productivity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Oversee Azure AD, Entra ID, and Conditional Access Policies to strengthen identity and access management.
• Maintain and optimize Active Directory environments (on-premises and hybrid).
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Ensure endpoint security and compliance using tools like Intune, Ivanti, or SCCM.
• Support hybrid cloud environments, integrating Microsoft 365 with on-premises systems.
• Configure and manage servers, storage, and core infrastructure components.
• Develop and enforce Group Policies (GPOs) for security and compliance.
• Monitor system performance, proactively address issues, and implement solutions.
• Act as a technical escalation point (Tier 3) for complex IT challenges.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent through experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with endpoint management and security solutions.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
• Understanding of network protocols, enterprise storage, and IT security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with a team-oriented mindset.
• Eager to learn and stay updated with evolving technologies.
