Our client is seeking a dedicated Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of their IT systems and network. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational management of systems: install, configure, and maintain servers and network equipment under the supervision of System and Network Infrastructure Engineers and according to established instructions.
  • Resolve first-line incidents that occur within the infrastructure under the responsibility of the System Administrator.
  • Manage and monitor systems, network components, and applications to ensure their continuous operation, performance, and security.
  • Assist Infrastructure Engineers in the management and maintenance of technical infrastructures (data centers).
  • Perform operator tasks during periods outside the normal work schedule as part of the on-call duty.
  • Configure and install new equipment (PCs, printers), help users operate them, and address on-site ICT issues that cannot be resolved remotely as part of shared services.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work relatively independently while following project priorities and planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to continuously deepen knowledge of new technologies.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure within Windows environments.
  • Flexibility and readiness to put in extra effort when needed.
  • Effective communication skills in Dutch and French.
