Tech lead Sitecore

Function

Our client is seeking a very experienced Sitecore specialist to support the development, evolution, and maintenance of complex web platforms. The assignment involves working across application development, platform updates, and operational support in both intranet- and cloud-based environments.

This function can be done fully remote, but please check every single technical skill as the bar is high.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications built on Sitecore and ASP.NET MVC 5.
• Contribute to Sitecore migration and version upgrade initiatives.
• Support deployment activities, environment tuning, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Work with DevOps-related tasks, networking aspects, and operational troubleshooting.
• Provide support for production incidents when needed, including on-demand availability.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Sitecore development.
• Experience with Sitecore migration and version update projects.
• Solid background in ASP.NET MVC 5.
• Experience in software development within a railway domain environment.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare, Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway, F5 WAF, and load balancers.
• Proven experience with .NET 6, ideally also .NET 8 and .NET 9.
• Practical experience with DevOps, networking, deployments, and environment maintenance for both intranet and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with TypeScript, jQuery, AngularJS, React JS, Knockout JS, and Hangfire.

Profile

• At least 10 years of hands-on Sitecore experience, supported by a strong portfolio of web platforms.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC 5.
• At least 5 years of experience in railway domain software development.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written, at native level or C1/C2 level.
• Comfortable taking responsibility for production support when required.

Practical Information

• This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
